Manufacturing process — Forged blanks, machined and drilled to standard facing
Forged blanks, machined and drilled to standard facing
- Ring-rolled or closed-die forged blanks for weld neck, blind and socket-weld flanges
- Solution annealing / heat treatment per material class
- CNC turning and boring to ASME B16.5 / B16.47 dimensions and facing finishes (RF, FF, RTJ)
- Drilling of bolt holes with orientation control; hub and bore gauging
- PMI on every piece; UT for critical class; hardness verification
- Marking (heat, size, class, grade) and EN 10204 3.1 documentation
Every stage is heat-number traceable; furnace charts, NDT records and test data are retained and issued with the mill certificate.
