GH3030 is an 80Ni-20Cr solid-solution nickel superalloy with good oxidation resistance and hot strength below 800 °C. Easy to hot/cold work and weld, it is a classic material for aero-engine combustors and afterburner components.

What heat treatment does GH3030 use?
GH3030 is normally solution treated at 980–1020 °C and air or water cooled. For cold-rolled sheet, annealing at 1050–1080 °C gives a fine grain and good formability. The alloy cannot be age hardened — properties are adjusted only by solution treatment and cold work.
